The foundations of our business
Having identified customer preference to entrust their total package to a single contractor, Kirton Construction & Interiors Ltd was developed, and we have enlarged our portfolio of products and services to a point where a full package service can be provided from concept through to completion.
We also undertake refurbishment projects to existing premises again offering the total package, or stand alone services such as partitioning, flooring or furniture procurement.
Over the last 40+ Years Kirton Construction & Interiors Ltd have prided themselves on creating excellent working relationships with not only clients but also architects, designers, engineers & sub-contractors to create a professional working environment too help make all projects run smoothly and on time.
Successful project delivery is down to the combined skills of the wider team and it is vital to ensure they have the knowledge, experience and motivation to help achieve the client’s aims throughout the project.
All projects whether big or small are approached exactly the same, usually starting with meeting the client and striking a friendly, professional relationship with clients and their project team, before work begins a detailed programme of works is set up and agreed with the client and sub-contractors and the project is overseen by a dedicated project manager to ensure that works are carried out on time and to the highest of standards.
Kirton Construction & Interiors Ltd have a small but highly motivated, skilled team of people who have over 50+ years of inhouse experience and who are totally committed to fulfilling the client needs and requirements.
Kirton hold a select list of trusted specialists a proven ability to deliver contracts to high standards. Sub-contractors are required to meet strict criteria in health and safety, management standards, and quality.
Client satisfaction is our overall aim and shows the measure of success come the end of a project. With repeat business and word-of-mouth recommendation so important, the aim is to be first in mind for clients when tendering their next project.
Sustainability plays a huge part in the construction industry in today’s world and Kirton Construction & Interiors Ltd aims to complete all projects in a sustainable manner.
But what is sustainability? Sustainability is a broad term describing a desire to carry out activities without depleting resources or having harmful impacts, and meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Many clients, especially when working on new builds want their building to perform to the highest of standards without impacting on the environment too much and achieve a minimum BREEAM rating of very good or above.
Kirton working with specialised contractors oversee the impact of the building and track from initial concept through completion, and on into everyday use. It can involve replacing raw, natural materials with recycled content, reducing energy use and pollution during construction, and ensuring waste is minimised and recycled.
HEALTH & SAFETY
As with sustainability Health & Safety plays a huge part in today’s construction industry and will continue to do so in the future as it is critical for safety of everyone involved who are working or visiting construction sites.
Kirton Construction & Interiors Ltd do all that is reasonably practicable to ensure we provide a safe and healthy environment for staff, subcontractors, visitors and any others who may come into contact with a project that we are working on.
All relevant pre, construction and completed Health and safety files are produced for all projects that are required as well as all relevant risk assessments and method statements that are produced before any works are carried out on site.
